Founded in 2013, Newark Science and Sustainability (Newark SaS) is a community-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Newark, NJ. They create generational sustainability through educational programs, agricultural training and community green development, ensuring eco-conscious communities and healthy food access locally and globally.
Their work rests on five pillars: urban agriculture, clean energy, ecological construction, wellness & nutrition education, and eco art. Think global, act local — that's Glocal.
